Rome, Dec. 15 (LaPresse) – The Ministry of the Interior will appeal to the Supreme Court to secure the repatriation of the Turin Imam, Mohamed Shahin. LaPresse learned this from Interior Ministry sources. The expulsion procedures are therefore continuing following the decision of the Turin Court of Appeal, which upheld the Imam’s appeal from the San Salvario district, ruling in favor of ending his detention at the Caltanissetta CPR.
