Orlandi case, De Priamo: “Casagrande was the last to see Emanuela, tell what you know”

Milan, Dec. 21 (LaPresse) – “There are many elements to suggest that she was one of the last, if not the last, among Emanuela’s friends from music school to see her. This means she may have seen or known what Emanuela did before disappearing, and possibly with whom she left.” This is stated in an interview with Repubblica by Andrea De Priamo, president of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into the disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi and Mirella Gregori.

Casagrande, “immediately after the disappearance, was interviewed more than once and said she had left the school with Emanuela. However, when we later heard her in the Commission, her account changed radically: she spoke of a sort of amnesia and completely distanced herself from that scene.”

“The first two versions, though with some discrepancies, had a thread of consistency: Emanuela was arriving at that bus stop. In one version, she even asked if she should take the bus; in another, she saw her only from behind while walking. To us, however, she said she did not see her at all when leaving the school, placing her completely outside that context. At that point, I became the spokesperson for a sentiment shared by the Commission: we told her that we could hear her again even in the form of a sworn testimony,” he said.
