Rome, 7 January (LaPresse) – ‘Unity attracts, division disperses.’ This was Pope Leo XIV's reflection at the opening of the extraordinary Consistory in the Vatican. ‘We are a very diverse group, enriched by multiple backgrounds, cultures, ecclesial and social traditions, educational and academic paths, pastoral experiences and, of course, personal characteristics and traits. We are called first and foremost to get to know each other and to dialogue so that we can work together in the service of the Church. I hope that we can grow in communion to offer a model of collegiality,’ added the Pope.
