Genoa, Jan. 16 (LaPresse) – A ‘sentimental’ motive, perhaps a little too much attention, which may have caused the dispute that triggered the blind violence. This is what emerges from the initial findings of investigators looking into the murder of Y.Z., the 18-year-old boy of Egyptian origin who was stabbed to death at school by a classmate of the same age at the Einaudi Chiodo institute in La Spezia. Struck by a knife-wielding hand: the blows were struck by a 19-year-old classmate, A.Z., under the eyes of several witnesses who saw the 18-year-old lying on the ground in a pool of blood. The dispute originally arose over a relationship with a girl, a classmate at the same school, perhaps for reasons of jealousy. The girl was interviewed this afternoon by the police mobile squad investigating the incident. In shock because she was present at school, although not an eyewitness to the events, the young woman knew about the disagreements: in her words, the investigators found confirmation of the origins of the dispute that led to today's attack.
