Rome, Jan. 19 (LaPresse) – ‘Venus – Valentino Garavani through the eyes of Joana Vasconcelos’, the exhibition inaugurated just yesterday at the PM23 venue, the Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti Foundation in Rome, has been suspended due to mourning. The decision was taken immediately after the news of the death of the renowned Italian designer, who passed away today at the age of 93. PM23, in Piazza Mignanelli, will be used in the coming hours as the chapel of rest for Valentino, scheduled for Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22. The funeral will instead be held on Friday 23 at the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri in Piazza della Repubblica, in Rome.
