Turin, Jan. 23. (LaPresse) – “What can we say? We are shocked. It is a disgrace for our children who are no longer with us and for the injured young people who are fighting for their lives.” This was how Carla Lavina Scotto, the mother of Riccardo Minghetti, the 16-year-old who died in the Crans-Montana fire, commented on the news of Jacques Moretti's release from prison on Tg1. The woman and her husband Massimo met with the President of the Swiss Confederation, Guy Parmelin, in Bern. “Parmelin was sincerely touched by what happened and promised to do his utmost, both he and the government of the Confederation. But a few hours later, the news of his release arrived,” explained Carla. (Continued).
