Vatican City (Vatican), 3 February (LaPresse) – Regarding the fresco of the angel with the face resembling Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in the church of San Lorenzo in Lucina, ‘no decision has yet been made’ even though ‘the original was certainly not like that’. This was stated by Giulio Albanese, head of communications for the Vicariate of Rome, on the sidelines of the press conference presenting the international award “Francis of Assisi and Carlo Acutis for an economy of fraternity”. What is certain, Father Albanese emphasised, is that the ‘decision will be shared’ between the owner of the church, the Fund for Religious Buildings, the Italian Superintendency and the Vicariate itself.
