Milan, 11 February (LaPresse) – In a resolution adopted yesterday, the Strike Guarantee Commission warned the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport of the real danger of disruption to freedom of movement during the air transport strikes planned for 16 February and 7 March. This was stated by the Strike Guarantee Commission in a note, which emphasised that these dates were considered critical by the Authority due to their overlap with the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. In order to ensure a fair balance between the exercise of the right to strike and the smooth running of the Olympic event, the Commission has proposed rescheduling the collective abstentions to the period between 24 February and 4 March, which is not affected by the competition calendar, the statement concludes.
