Milan, 20 February (LaPresse) – Carmelo Cinturrino, the police officer under investigation for the voluntary manslaughter of Abderrahim Mansouri in the Rogoredo woods, allegedly lied to his colleagues, telling them that he had already called for help, contrary to the truth, while the 28-year-old was lying on the ground in agony after being hit on the head. This is what has emerged from the interrogations carried out on Thursday at the police headquarters in Milan of the four officers under investigation for aiding and abetting the assistant chief of the Mecenate police station and for failure to provide assistance due to the call to 118 being made more than 20 minutes after the fatal shooting. The colleagues allegedly dismissed the 42-year-old, claiming that they were not involved in the murder and that Cinturrino had handled the aftermath of the shooting, in which the alleged drug dealer was shot from a distance of about 25 metres, on his own.
