Milan, 27 February (LaPresse) – ‘The Colli Hospital, having acquired the disciplinary proceedings, has suspended two medical directors involved in the serious and painful case of little Domenico. Disciplinary proceedings are continuing for the other healthcare professionals involved, in accordance with current legislation.’ This was stated in a press release. ‘The hospital,’ it adds, "wishes to clarify that it took immediate action to shed light on what happened, in a transparent manner and in strict compliance with the law. It takes this opportunity to reiterate its closeness and support to the family of little Domenico and thanks all the staff who, although deeply hurt by the incident, continued to work with professionalism, dedication and humanity. It expresses its gratitude to patients and citizens who have shown solidarity and trust in the Monaldi Hospital in Naples.
