Milan, 2 March (LaPresse) – The driver of tram number 9, which derailed on Friday afternoon and crashed into a building in Milan's Viale Vittorio Veneto, causing two deaths and 48 injuries, is under investigation for railway disaster. This is the hypothesis contained in the initial report sent by the local police this morning to Public Prosecutor Elisa Calanducci, who is coordinating the investigation with Prosecutor Marcello Viola and Deputy Prosecutor Alessandra Dolci, who is temporarily heading the sixth department of the Public Prosecutor's Office for the Protection of Health, the Environment and Labour.
