Bosco family: children to remain in Vasto for now, no facilities available in Abruzzo

L'Aquila, 11 March (LaPresse) – The three children of the Bosco family from Palmoli (Chieti) will remain in the foster home in Vasto (Chieti) for the time being. Sources close to the family say that there is no possibility of accommodating the three children elsewhere. The management of three facilities contacted have reportedly refused to take them in. The children, two 6-year-old twins and an 8-year-old girl, were separated from their parents, Nathan Trevillon and Catherine Birmingham, on 20 November because the cottage where they lived had no toilet facilities and the children would not have been guaranteed a sufficient education. An order issued by the Juvenile Court of L'Aquila last week ordered the transfer of the children to another facility, but there is no possibility of accommodating them in the facilities contacted so far in Abruzzo.
