Reggio Calabria, 18 March (LaPresse) – A 29-year-old woman, of foreign origin and homeless, has died after being hit by a vehicle during the night on Viale Calabria in Reggio Calabria. According to initial reports, the collision is believed to have occurred at around 3 am, whilst the young woman was likely crossing the road. The driver of the vehicle, who has not yet been identified, did not stop to offer assistance and is believed to have driven off immediately after the collision. Police and municipal police officers attended the scene and carried out investigations to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident. Investigations are underway to identify the person responsible: investigators are also sifting through CCTV footage from the area in an attempt to identify the vehicle and driver involved.
