Graffiti targeting Urbano Cairo in Masio; 72-year-old reported to the police

Turin, 19 March (LaPresse) – The investigation conducted by the Carabinieri into the graffiti targeting Urbano Cairo, president of Torino, which appeared on the night of 6 March in the streets of the town of Masio, in the province of Alessandria, has concluded with a 72-year-old man being reported to the police whilst remaining at liberty. Investigators focused their attention on a 72-year-old man living in the area. During a search of the man’s home, several items of clothing believed to have been worn on the night of the incident were seized, along with numerous banners ready for display. The man now faces charges of criminal damage and aggravated defamation.
