Rome, 23 March (LaPresse) – The president of the ANM, Cesare Parodi, announced his irrevocable resignation to his colleagues a few minutes ago, citing strictly personal reasons for stepping down from his role as head of the National Magistrates’ Association. Parodi, a deputy public prosecutor in Turin, has, according to LaPresse, resigned due to serious health problems affecting a family member and decided to announce his decision shortly before the polls closed for the referendum on justice reform, so as not to link his resignation to whatever the result of the count may be.
