Milan, May 22 (LaPresse) – "During the television program ‘Ore 14 Sera’ on May 21, which aired on Rai2 until late at night, attorney Antonio De Rensis (Alberto Stasi’s attorney, ed.) improperly used a public service to make statements that seriously damaged the personal and professional reputation of his colleague, attorney Stefania Cappa, as well as that of her family, using tones and methods that far exceeded the limits of lawful debate, in open contrast to the decorum and duties that must always characterize the practice of the legal profession.” This is stated in a note by Gabriele Casartelli, Antonio Marino, and Valeria Mattica, attorneys for Stefania Cappa, cousin of Chiara Poggi, who was murdered in Garlasco on August 13, 2007. For these reasons, the statement continues, “through her attorneys, Stefania Cappa announces that she will take action against De Rensis in the appropriate forums—criminal, civil, and disciplinary—to protect her rights and her reputation.”
