Rome, 25 May (LaPresse) – A serious road accident occurred this morning on the SP67, in the Marcaria area of the Mantua province. According to initial reports, a head-on collision between a car and a heavy goods vehicle took place shortly after 11 am. A woman in her 30s, the driver of the car, died at the scene despite the efforts of the emergency services. The driver of the heavy goods vehicle, a 59-year-old man, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Casalmaggiore Hospital, in the province of Cremona, as a non-urgent case. An emergency doctor, an ambulance, the fire brigade and the police attended the scene to carry out investigations and manage traffic.
