Genoa, 3 June (LaPresse) – “She confirmed that she never touched or hit the girls, nor did she ever use violence, as the girls’ father has also already stated. She answered all our questions, even though we haven’t seen the case files yet; everything must be assessed in light of the evidence from the files, which we do not yet have. She is deeply distressed, but she wants justice for the little girl.” This is what lawyer Laura Corbetta, legal representative of Emanuela Aiello, the mother of little Beatrice, the two-year-old girl who died on 9 February in Bordighera, told La Presse. Today, the woman appeared before the investigating magistrate for questioning, which lasted about an hour and a half, after which she was transferred back to Turin prison.
