Milan, 3 June (LaPresse) – The lawyers for Nicole Minetti and Giuseppe Cipriani ‘take note of the outcome of the investigations conducted by the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office following the publication of reports – all of which proved to be untrue, as established by the judicial authorities – by Il Fatto Quotidiano’. This is stated in a note from lawyers Antonella Calcaterra, Emanuele Fisicaro and Paolo Siniscalchi. The lawyers reiterate that they "have taken legal action to seek compensation for the damages suffered by their clients. The subject of the initial claims for compensation are: over fifty articles published, including in the respective online editions, by the newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano, and the programmes È sempre Cartabianca, broadcast on Rete 4 on 28 April, and Report, broadcast on Rai 3 on 3 May 2026." The extent of the damage is primarily related to the extremely serious harm caused to the minor. Cipriani and Minetti, through their lawyers, reserve the right to take further action in any competent forum," the statement concludes.
