Rome, Jan. 8 (LaPresse) – The increase in military spending in Nato to 5% as called for by Trump? ‘NATO is also asking for it, not only Trump, but also Poland, the Baltics, Germany itself and other countries. It will be decided by the assembly at the next NATO meeting of leaders which will be indicatively in June-July. It seems there may be a shift and it will be set there. I don't think it will be 5% – that would be impossible for almost all the nations in the world at this time – but, as I have been saying for some time, it will no longer be the 2% that we are already struggling to reach, but it will be more like 2. So said Defence Minister Guido Crosetto on the sidelines of question time in the Chamber of Deputies.
