Rome, Jan. 18 (LaPresse) – "There is no form of illegal or institutionally incompatible rebellion in the protests being discussed. Instead, it is about making the public aware of the reasons why we believe this constitutional proposal does not lead to an improvement in justice or the strengthening of guarantees of independence and autonomy. We have the right to say so." This was stated by the president of the National Association of Magistrates (ANM), Giuseppe Santalucia, on the sidelines of the Rome board meeting, in response to journalists' questions about the possibility of protests by the association of magistrates during the inauguration of the judicial year. "As public officials, we are absolutely loyal to the Republic, and it is precisely for this reason that we will do what we are preparing to do: out of the utmost loyalty to the Republic," Santalucia concluded.
