Rome, February 21 (LaPresse) – "Perhaps this case shows that we need a lottery to eradicate the cancerous power of factions within the judiciary." This is how the Undersecretary for Justice Andrea Delmastro responded during an interview with Tg1, after the statements from the National Association of Magistrates (ANM), which claimed that "to have an impartial judge, there's no need to go to Berlin." "Rest assured, I am going to Berlin to find an impartial judge," he replied. Regarding the resignation requests from the opposition, he said: "I think that’s their favorite sport. We note that no one has resigned yet due to the opposition’s requests. We received the vote of the Italian people to change Italy, including reforming the justice system, and that’s what we’ll do, leaving a better justice system for our children."
