Rome, March 4 (LaPresse) – ‘According to the data released today by Istat, the number of people employed in Italy reached 24 million 222 thousand in January 2025. The employment rate is growing at 62.8%. On an annual basis, employment increases by 2.2%, with 513 thousand more employed. These are important numbers, which confirm the growth in employment and the good performance of the labour market. But we know that we can and must do even more. We will continue with determination along this path, to consolidate growth and strengthen Italy's competitiveness'. So said Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on X.
