Rome, March 23 (LaPresse) – The President of the Senate, Ignazio La Russa, has arrived in Beijing, where he was welcomed by the Vice President of the International Affairs Commission of the National People's Congress and Vice President of the Italy-China Friendship Group of the National People's Congress, Hao Ping. In the coming hours, La Russa will meet with the President of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Zhao Leji, and the Vice President of the People's Republic of China, Han Zheng. On Wednesday, La Russa will travel to Shanghai, where he will first meet with the Secretary of the Communist Party of China for the Shanghai Municipality, Chen Jining, and then with the President of the People’s Congress of the Shanghai Municipality, Huang Lixin.
