Rome, Apr 2 (LaPresse) – Tariffs are a "deep mistake." A "united, calm, and determined" response is needed from Europe. This is what President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella said, as reported, during his meeting at the Quirinale with the President of the Republic of Estonia, Alar Karis. During the conversation, full alignment was noted regarding the need to restore collaborative transatlantic relations. The two presidents also agreed on the necessity to accelerate the EU enlargement process to include the Balkans, considering also Ukraine and Moldova. Present at the meeting was the Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Edmondo Cirielli.
