Milan, Apr 4 (LaPresse) – To deal with the possible crisis triggered by the duties imposed by US President Donald Trump ‘there is an open issue with respect to the Stability Pact. There is a rule that is called the general safeguard clause, which provides for a derogation from the Stability Pact: perhaps we should reason about that or make a further assessment of how the Stability Pact has been indicated’. So said Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, speaking to reporters in Ortona (Chieti).
