(LaPresse) – Yesterday's demonstration against rearmament in Rome ’on the one hand demonstrates the strong unity of the 5 Star Movement which has always been united and found common ground on these battles. Moreover, today there is an additional message: the M5S is managing to broaden the scope of its message, today the first solid pillar of an alternative government is being established. This demonstration is a success that objectively goes beyond any optimistic forecast and demonstrates that the honeymoon period of the Meloni government with the Italians is over, it is a fundamental step’. This was stated by M5S leader Giuseppe Conte in an interview with the ‘Corriere della sera’. Both the Avs and the Pd were present in the square: is this the perimeter? ‘Certainly there are political forces that have started to dialogue in a privileged way, to build already some fundamental steps: differentiated autonomy, minimum wage, ius soli and working time. This square is asking us to build an alternative based on fixed points, clear messages without ambiguity: no to rearmament, this is the unifying point, not of the political forces that speak politicalese, that every day talk to each other between secretaries and political representatives in the newspapers’.
