(LaPresse) – ‘Up until ten days ago the imminent danger was Russian tanks and therefore we had to run up 800 billion in debt’, now, according to the EU, ‘we've gone from the danger of Moscow to the danger of Washington, then the danger will come from Beijing, from Jerusalem. In Brussels they are out of phase: first they used the term ‘rearmament’, then they changed it to Readiness 2030. So, it's April 2025 and talking about readiness in 2030 is an oxymoron. So we're going to spend now on weapons and in 2030 we'll defend ourselves?’ So said the leader of the Lega, Matteo Salvini, at the party's political training school, underway in Rome.
