Rome, 14 Apr. (LaPresse) – ‘I note with great satisfaction what my lawyer, Cesare Placanica, has told me, namely the decision of the Public Prosecutor at the Court of Rome who, with reference to the complaint made against me in relation to my university career, has ruled that there is no case to answer and consequently has not entered any suspect in the register of criminal offences. For me, after this authoritative endorsement, fully in line with what I have always maintained, the story ends here. At this point I have a duty to proceed for the crime of defamation for any malicious inference against me’. So reads a note from the Minister of Labour and Social Policies, Marina Calderone, regarding the matter of the qualifications she obtained from Link Campus University, on which the Rome prosecutor's office has opened a file with no suspects or hypotheses of crime after the complaint presented by a university professor from Brescia.
