Rome, 22 April (LaPresse) – ‘Women's health is a multifaceted issue. I am thinking, for example, of the attention that must be paid to fertility, which is closely linked to demographics and birth rates. This is why we allocated three and a half million euros in the latest budget to specific information and awareness campaigns on ovarian reserve testing. Equally crucial is the commitment to scientific research in the field of women's health, in particular through the Ministry of Health's support for research activities carried out by IRCCS (National Research Institutes for Health, Hospitalisation and Care) in this field, with a specific focus on personalised medicine.’ These were the words of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in a message read by Minister Orazio Schillaci at the celebrations for the tenth National Women's Health Day. The Prime Minister also stressed the importance of ‘training medical and healthcare personnel in gender medicine, in order to formulate timely diagnoses and appropriate therapeutic interventions’.
