Rome, May 5 (LaPresse) – According to sources within the executive, the Italian government has submitted its defense brief to the International Criminal Court in The Hague regarding the failure to hand over Libyan commander Njiiem Almasri, who was arrested and then repatriated on a state flight. On April 22, the government had requested and obtained a new extension until May 6 for the submission of the documentation.
