Rome, May 5 (LaPresse) – “I don’t know what Fratelli d’Italia says, but we are in favor of political abstention. We do not support the referendum proposal, so we are calling for abstention,” said Deputy Prime Minister and Forza Italia leader Antonio Tajani on the sidelines of the party’s General Assembly on Sports held at the Chamber of Deputies. Pressed by reporters, he added: “To abstain means not to vote, therefore abstaining from the vote.”
