Rome, 29 May (LaPresse) – Bilateral talks between Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev are underway in Samarkand. The talks will be followed by a ceremony for the signing of agreements between the two countries. According to the Uzbek government website, the talks in Samarkand are “high-level discussions, during which issues related to the further strengthening of strategic partnership relations and the expansion of cooperation on multiple fronts will be considered. Attention will be focused on promoting innovative interaction projects and humanitarian exchange. The signing of a package of bilateral agreements is expected”.
