Milan, 29 May (LaPresse) – Senate President Ignazio La Russa notes the ‘extreme clarity’ of the government on Gaza, whose line was outlined by the Foreign Minister in Parliament. In an interview with Corriere della Sera, he decided to echo the words of Antonio Tajani, expressing ‘outrage at the innocent deaths’ and the ‘absolutely dramatic and unacceptable forms of conflict in which children, women and the elderly are paying for crimes they did not commit’. He was keen to point out that “the roots of the war lie in the massacre of 7 October and the captivity of the Israeli hostages. And all this without any concessions so far from the Hamas terrorists and their Iranian protectors, who are united in their desire to wipe out the State of Israel”.
