Rome, June 7 (LaPresse) – Anticipation is growing in Rome for the demonstration for Gaza organized by the Democratic Party (PD), the Five Star Movement (M5S), and the Green and Left Alliance (Avs). The front of the march is ready to set off at the beginning of Via Emanuele Filiberto, while Piazza Vittorio is starting to fill with citizens. Behind the lead banner reading "Stop the massacre" are several representatives from the organizing political forces. Among those already present in the square are Nicola Fratoianni, leader of Italian Left (Si), PD MEP Nicola Zingaretti, several members of the Democratic Party leadership, and M5S parliamentary group leader Riccardo Ricciardi. Numerous peace flags can be seen, alongside Palestinian flags and those of the organizing parties. Chants of "Free Palestine" and "Palestina libera" have already begun. Party leaders Elly Schlein, Giuseppe Conte, and Angelo Bonelli are also expected to lead the march.
