Rome, 22 June (LaPresse) – ‘No government was informed of the attack, but all the defence forces and intelligence services analysing what was happening took it for granted, so there was no need to receive information because we knew about it. The Iranians probably knew too; the only thing missing was the time it would start.’ This was stated by Defence Minister Guido Crosetto, speaking on La7, ‘explaining that we were surprised.’ ‘When the US B2 Spirits move, we are talking about aircraft measuring 20 metres by 52, which are the only ones capable of carrying GBU-57 bombs,’ the minister pointed out, ‘it is perfectly clear what the result will be.’
