The Hague (Netherlands), 25 June (LaPresse) – "It's not that we make these choices to satisfy or please anyone. We make them for exactly the opposite reason. We make them because they are useful to us, we make them because they serve our autonomy, we make them because they serve our sovereignty, we make them because they serve our ability to keep this nation strong." This is what Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said during a press conference at the end of the NATO summit in The Hague, in response to a question about the 5% defence spending target.
