Rome, July 17 (LaPresse) – "The government is working to prevent a trade war with the United States, which would make no sense and would mostly affect workers," said Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, speaking at the CISL confederal congress in Rome.
"Today marks one thousand days since this government took office. It feels like a bit more to me, but it’s a thousand. And I think that’s enough time to honestly evaluate the direction we’ve taken and the work we’ve done. But I’ll tell you what makes me proudest as Prime Minister after nearly three years of government: on average, each of these thousand days saw the creation of more than a thousand new, permanent jobs. For a total of over one million new jobs," the Prime Minister emphasized.
