Rome, 26 July (LaPresse) – "What happened today in Val di Susa is shameful. Organised groups of No Tav occupied the Turin-Bardonecchia motorway, stormed construction sites and threw stones and smoke bombs at the police. These acts of urban guerrilla warfare are unworthy of a civilised nation, have nothing to do with the expression of dissent and are firmly condemned. Acts that, with the security decree sought by the government, will be punished with greater severity and firmness. We express our full solidarity and closeness to our men and women in uniform, who today once again demonstrated their courage and sense of duty in containing the unrest and ensuring safety'. So said Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
