Milan, 1 August (LaPresse) – ‘I think that magistrates are moving from analysing conflicts of interest, as is right, to urban planning in Milan.’ So said the leader of Azione, Carlo Calenda, in an interview with Corriere della Sera. "If, as it seems, the PD and its allies are going along with the hypotheses of this investigation, then they should form a council with magistrates instead of Sala. Otherwise, given that it is not up to judges to decide on urban planning, they should go ahead with the stadium,‘ he added. He continued: ’They launched this investigation as soon as the idea of the new stadium was mooted, and the notices of investigation were issued three days before the zoning plan… Either the PD clearly states that it is not up to magistrates to decide on the development of a city, or there is a problem."
