Rome, 6 August (LaPresse) – ‘Today, in a scenario marked by wars, growing tensions and conflicts, we must strongly reiterate that the use or even the mere threat of introducing nuclear weapons into armed conflicts is a crime against humanity.’ This was stated by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, on the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima.
