Rome, 7 September (LaPresse) – ‘I am here in an unusual role, that of presenter. And the presentation must be brief. First of all, I would like to say: thank you Naples, thank you Campania. There are special rules for doing politics in the M5S, but the affection of decent people repays us.’ This was said by M5S president Giuseppe Conte during his meeting with Roberto Fico in Naples. ‘Finally,’ he added, "the moment we have been working towards has arrived. We in the M5S have been the quietest, and my thanks go to my community. You have shown great unity and seriousness, working together to give Campania a serious and credible project that extends to political, social and cultural forces. What was once a stream is now a river that wants to flow into the open sea.‘ ’I would like to thank the mayor of Naples, Manfredi, who is here and has given us a great deal of help. I would like to thank the political forces, from the PD to the AVS, and the forces that have joined us along the way. Now, Roberto, we are in a position to entrust you with this journey: an open and transparent journey. In the spirit of revitalising the South and social redemption, Roberto, I leave the floor to you and declare myself honoured on behalf of the M5S to be able to work to preserve the good that has been done so far.
