Rome, Sept. 7 (LaPresse) – "In these days I have been overwhelmed by incredible affection," said Roberto Fico, the center-left candidate for the presidency of Campania, during a meeting with M5S President Giuseppe Conte in Naples. "I thank the M5S, which has been and always will be my home. I thank Schlein, Fratoianni, Bonelli, and all the forces that want to support our coalition. The most important word we must use is 'future': we are a community that looks ahead; no one is enough alone. We must bring together the best parts of society. Participation will be the founding word of this coalition. Without participation, there can be no democracy." "There is much talk about the program," he added, "and starting tomorrow, we will begin building it as a synthesis, respecting the political forces and everyone's sensitivities. Every party has its own platform, but now is the time to work together for a cutting-edge program." Among the themes Fico highlighted were the right to health, the right to mobility, and the issue of inland areas. "Everything we do," Fico concluded, "will be characterized by the word ethics. For this reason, I will propose a legality protocol and an ethical code to ensure clean candidate lists. But I know this is inherent to our coalition. Collegiality and participation are our watchwords. We will be on the ground, fully involved. Politics is the love for our territory, and we will pursue it relentlessly, with courage!"
