Naples, Sept. 10 (LaPresse) – "I read that I might be interested in running for the Campania Region. I categorically deny it." This is what Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis wrote on X, responding to rumors about a possible center-right candidacy for the presidency of the Campania Region.
Regarding his presence at Palazzo Chigi two days ago – which some media interpreted as a clue to his potential entry into the regional elections in Campania – De Laurentiis clarified: "I met with Giorgia Meloni at Palazzo Chigi to talk about the two 'Cs' that have always been central to my professional and entrepreneurial life: Cinema and Football."
