Rome, Sept. 20 (LaPresse) – "Since my years of activism in the youth movement, I have always believed that ideas cannot live without action. I have always thought it was essential to fight on the front line to assert one's vision of the world by taking responsibility. And it is precisely for this reason that I want to pay sincere tribute to Charlie Kirk, a young man, a brave father who paid with his life for the courage of his ideas and the price of his freedom. His sacrifice reminds us, once again, on which side violence and intolerance stand," said Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in a video message sent to the ECR event 'The Right that wins.' "And I want to tell all those who die of hatred, those who spend their lives demonizing those who politically diminish them and then find hypocritical justifications even for the most heinous crimes, that we will not fall into this sordid game," the Prime Minister emphasized. "We will not allow them to drag our nations into this spiral of hatred and violence. But I will also say with the same firmness that we will not be intimidated and that we will continue to fight with the calm strength of our ideas."
