Rome, 17 Nov. (LaPresse) – ‘I can assure you that the Region will also allocate resources in the next budget law to respond to the population and businesses in the areas, particularly in the territories of Cormons and Romans d'Isonzo, which have been hit by the extraordinary wave of bad weather in recent hours’. This was stated by the governor of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Massimiliano Fedriga, at the end of the online meeting of Corem, the Regional Emergency Committee, which he attended together with the Councillor for Civil Protection, Riccardo Riccardi, the prefects of Gorizia and Udine, Ester Fedullo and Domenico Lione, and all the authorities concerned, starting with the fire brigade and the mayors of Cormons and Romans, Roberto Felcaro and Michele Calligaris. The Region has already allocated one million euros for the first urgent interventions and, as announced by the governor, the Minister for Civil Protection, Nello Musumeci, has signed the national mobilisation order that will allow other regions to support Friuli Venezia Giulia.
