(LaPresse) – ‘Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni spoke on the phone with the president of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, Massimiliano Fedriga, to be updated on the bad weather affecting the area.’ This is according to sources at Palazzo Chigi. ‘The Prime Minister is closely monitoring developments and is in direct contact with Minister Musumeci and the Department of Civil Protection,’ they added. Meloni expressed her closeness to the communities affected and offered her heartfelt thanks to all the women and men involved in the rescue operations.
