Justice reform, Nordio: ‘Implementing the P2 plan? Even Gelli can say the right thing’

Naples, 18 Nov. (LaPresse) – ‘I am not familiar with the P2 plan. I can say that, if Mr Licio Gelli's opinion was correct, there is no reason why it should not be followed because he said so. Truths do not depend on who proclaims them, but on the objectivity they represent.’ This was the statement made by Justice Minister Carlo Nordio, on the sidelines of a visit to the Secondigliano prison in Naples, regarding the statement made by Naples Attorney General Aldo Policastro that the justice reform would implement the P2 plan. "If Gelli said that Jesus died on the cross, that doesn't mean we have to say he died of pneumonia. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. The British say “stumbled on the truth”. Even if Gelli stumbled on the truth, that doesn't mean the truth is no longer the truth," added Nordio.
