Rome, 10 March (LaPresse) – "I request that Minister Nordio come to the Chamber to report on the measures he intends to take against Bartolozzi. Bartolozzi used violent, subversive words that cannot be downplayed or rectified by the person who uttered them. Nor can they be minimised by the Minister of Justice, who, by remaining inert, shows that he agrees with them. These words outrage us, but they do not surprise us, because we believe they are sincere and authentically reveal the true goal that this government wants to achieve with the reform: to get rid of the judiciary. The authors of this reform are hostile to the Constitution, because the Constitution is a barrier to their delusions of omnipotence." Thus spoke M5S MP Valentina D'Orso in the Chamber. “We cannot understand why Bartolozzi is still in her position. Minister Nordio, faced with an indecent statement, defends his chief of staff. Dr Bartolozzi must resign,” added Angelo Bonelli of Avs. The PD and Italia Viva joined in the request.
