Rome, Apr. 8 (LaPresse) – "A possible mission. I am convinced that this meeting confirms the possibility of reconnecting the threads between the actors of justice and opening up to dialogue." This is what Deputy Minister of Justice Francesco Paolo Sisto said at the conference organized by Il Dubbio in Rome, where he proposed opening a table at the ministry with the ANM and the bar to reform justice. "The referendum outlined an Italy in which there is a perception of a justice system that does not work, and we must open up to the possibility of dialogue," he added. "The referendum confirms that the Constitution has had the ability to defend itself. Therefore, constitutional principles must be strengthened and respected."
"We need to make progress that is not conditioned by what happened during the referendum campaign," he continued. "Let’s sit at a table with politics, the judiciary, and the bar to find what unites us rather than what divides us. Not to score a trophy, but to provide better justice for citizens. We have a year before the end of the legislature," he added, "so we need to choose what to tackle. Aim for small, precise interventions rather than sweeping reforms," he concluded.
